Brilliant Worm Bin

I’m a beginner to vermicomposting and I absolutely love this product. The zips make it very easy to open and maintain, and the design is attractive.

My only concern is that while my worm bin has been establishing smaller worms have been escaping through small gaps at the ends where the zip meets the fabric. Over the last few weeks I’ve seen a couple small dried out worms that have escaped through these. I imagine that after a little more time this won’t be an issue so I have popped a little blu tack on these gaps.

This is still an amazing product and I very much recommend it to anyone interested in this feed through system.

A friend of mine already has a WormBag and is totally enthusiastic about it, so I wanted one myself. I don’t want to throw my organic waste in the organic bag any more but recycle it myself and turn it into soil.

easy start to worm composting

This is a good enough set up, would benefit from being more sturdy in the frame so that it is easy enough to move and clean around ……. plus would have found it easier if the option to get the “starter bedding” came with the kit…..

Successfully improved through click and velcro opening

I’ve had the WormBag since March 2019 and it does what it’s supposed to, I’ve just “harvested” 2×20 litres of the finest worm compost. I am thrilled with the new solution of the click and velcro fastener, which makes earning much easier.

I’ve been enviously admiring the WormBag for a long time among American bloggers and worm lovers, so I’m happy that the WB is now also available in Europe.
Simple construction, makes a stable impression. The volume is huge and at the same time I find the working height wonderful.
The bag itself gave off a plastic smell when I unpacked it, which I aired out before putting it into operation.
I will have to come back to this review at a later point to evaluate the system in “running order”, but at this point 5 out of 5 stars.
